The idea behind this suction cup dog toy is simple: give the dog something to pull against when you are not available to play. The wide suction base locks onto smooth floors, tile, hardwood or laminate, and holds firm while your dog tugs on the rope. At the end of the rope sits a textured rubber ball with raised bristles and a hollow centre you can fill with treats or dry kibble, so there is something to chew and work at as well as something to pull. As a bungee tug toy it puts the resistance in the rope rather than in your arm. The ball and base are BPA-free rubber, and the whole setup comes apart easily for cleaning. It works best on smooth, flat indoor surfaces, with dogs that enjoy tug play or are motivated by food rewards.
